Allow around 1 h 15. Take the A64, exit 20 towards Saint-Martory / Salies-du-Salat / Saint-Girons, then head for Aspet and Sengouagnet.

The last stretch to the cottage is a narrow, steep lane. It helps to keep a little momentum for the final bend. If you'd rather, you can also park on the small square near the fountain, slightly below. Once there, you'll enjoy a peaceful setting and a beautiful mountain view.

Yes, the cottage is in unspoilt nature: the nearest shops are in Aspet (8 km) and Saint-Gaudens (23 km). A car is essential to explore the valley.

From 4 pm, whenever suits you. A key safe is by the front door; the code is emailed to you a few days beforehand.

Yes, check-in is self-service thanks to the key safe. Just let us know your approximate time.

Departure is by 10 am at the latest. Keys go back in the key safe.

Yes. The house has a heat pump, providing heating in winter and air conditioning in summer. The lounge also has a wood stove, especially pleasant for cosy evenings by the fire. Wood is provided and stored under the garden shed.

You get free fibre Wi-Fi throughout the house, ideal for staying connected or working remotely. A washing machine and tumble dryer are also available, particularly handy for family or long stays. For relaxing, the house has two TVs: one in the lounge and one upstairs.

You can bring your own linen or rent it: €20 per bed for sheets, €10 per person for bath towels, for the whole stay. To specify when booking, at least 24 h before your arrival.

Yes, pets are welcome with the owners' agreement, for €50 per stay (one pet only). The grounds are fully enclosed.

End-of-stay cleaning is carried out by our cleaner after every departure to prepare the home for the next guests. It is always billed with the booking; the amount appears in the price breakdown before payment.

Yes, from mid-September to mid-October. Deer come down regularly into the meadow below the cottage, especially at dusk. It's the most sought-after time of year.

Maison du Coué lets you enjoy the Pyrenees in every season. You can ski at Le Mourtis, 17 km away, or reach the Luchon-Superbagnères resort at 28 km. Nature lovers have 18 marked hiking trails, including one starting right from the cottage, plus over 600 km of mountain-bike routes. The area is also great for trout fishing (the cottage carries the Fishing Accommodation label) and relaxing at the Salies-du-Salat thermal baths, 27 km away.
